Hello

Hello Capital City!
It's great to have you join me in this blog. I look forward to hearing from you and getting the chance to meat or re-meet you in the next few weeks.

So tell me, what are your big plans for Thanksgiving?

  1. Getting together with family and friends. We are having Thanksgiving at Lori and Joe's house. Liked your video today. It made it seem like you were actually speaking to us. That was a nice touch. Can't wait for your family to get here. What are your plans for Thanksgiving?

  4. Hey guys, RJ here! Looking forward to seeing you again soon. I'm just chillin watchin the AMA's and reflectin on the amazing talent so many of these folks have, yet it's obvious so many of them are as lost as goats in a hailstorm! I pray for those that don't know Christ to be reached, so that their talent can be used for His glory.

As for Thanksgiving, Connie, the girls and i will be going to my parents in Pickerington on Thursday and then we'll hopefully see my mom, her boyfriend and my brother Friday, and then we're off to Dayton on Saturday to see Connie's family. Her brother is coming up from Nashville with his wife and 4 kids, and her sister, her husband and their 2 kids who live in Dayton will all meet us in Brookville! What an incredible time all 3 of these events will be. I can't describe how much these gatherings mean to me, the older i get. My love for family grows deeper and deeper with time. I thank God for my family.

I also thank God for my brother and sisters who He is moving to our city so that we might start meeting with one another every Sunday! I also thank God that our brother is going to help our family, congregation, neighborhood and city to know God and make Him known. Blessings to you Pastor have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

p.s. sorry about your loss. O-H..

  5. The Fladberg family has accepted a most gracious invite to Thanksgiving dinner from Don And Marcia Rowles (This is Krista Sheetz mom and dad--they have adopted us since we moved way up here from Texas). All of my family is still in Texas and Ove's is in Norway, so we are a long way from both! We are driving to Texas for Christmas (16hours...good times!), so Thanksgiving will be in Ohio. Only the second time in my life that I have not been with family on this day, but I am SO Thankful for the families that have taken us in since we moved here! What a blessing! As for the day after Thanksgiving...shopping...of course!

  6. Hi, Pastor Shane! Joe & I are having my Mom & Dad, Scott, Debbie, & the girls over for Thanksgiving dinner. We've invited another family from church, the Snavleys, to join us, too. (Pastor Staci will be at her parents for the holiday.)

Our family has so much to be thankful for this year, especially as it relates to health. Grandpa Ebaugh (my Mom's Dad) had a stroke earlier in the year; Mom underwent partial removal of one of her kidneys due to cancer; and Scott had part of his thyroid removed. Praise the Lord -- we're extremely grateful that all are doing well!!

Praying you all have a great Thanksgiving, too! How/where will you be celebrating the holiday?

  7. Hey Pastor Shane!

Jim, Ryan, Adam and I are heading to my sister's house in Pickerington where my entire family will be gathering. Lots of food...I'm in charge of pumpkin pie and Jim's Grandma's famous sausage stuffing...yummo! We are so thankful that God has sent you, Elena & the girls to us. We're so excited for what He has in store for all of us. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
